North Beach Farmer’s Market

I’m really excited that Urban Table is allowing food trucks to be part of North Beach’s Farmers Market that is held every Sunday. It’s a tiny market. Maybe about six vendors? Fish, meat (sometimes), bread, olives (sometimes), two veggies, and stone fruits from Kashiwase Farms.

Lately, LilGreenCyclo has been my Sunday lunch truck. Love them. So good on a sunny Sunday. The bahn mi’s are on a french roll, not hard, and it’s chock full. Not skimpy. I had the opportunity to try the Salty Lemonade. That was different and yummy, too.

But today is something different. I’ve seen this truck once before, but didn’t order. I think it was the first time I was lunching at an OffTheGrid site. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to order. This food truck phenom is konfuzing the first time you enter a corral of trucks. Which one to order from? Do you choose one meal? Or nosh from a bunch of vendors?? Now, I’ve tried a couple, have my favorites, so eating lunch isn’t so daunting. Oh, I was chatting about today, Sunday, at the North Beach Farmer’s Market. Today’s vendor is Chairman Bao.
